Blended coffee 물結(결) visual design

We proceeded with the design of the collaboration blend "물結(결)" between Nongshim Baeksansu and Identity Coffee Lab. The name "물結(결)" combines "물" (water) and "결" (fruit), symbolizing the meeting and fruition of the two brands through their commonality of water. This blend invokes the unique aroma of jasmine and magnolia from Colombian El Silencio Geisha coffee, complemented by the candy-like sweetness of Ethiopian Limu Damo coffee and the refreshing zest of lemongrass, reminiscent of early spring. The design aims to capture the complex sensory experience of the collaboration blend through typography that flows like water and colors that represent its multifaceted aroma and beauty. Furthermore, it signifies the gathering of small and large water droplets to form a droplet (a cup of coffee) and then these droplets coming together to create waves (fruition).

농심 백산수x아이덴티티 커피랩 콜라보 블렌드 물結(결) 디자인을 진행했습니다. '물'과 '결'을 결합한 '물結(결)'이라는 블렌드 네이밍은 두 브랜드가 공통점인 물을 통해 만나 결실을 맺는다는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 이 블렌드는 콜롬비아 엘 실렌시오 게이샤 커피의 특유한 쟈스민과 목련의 향을 연상시키며, 에티오피아 루무다모 커피의 캔디 같은 단맛과 레몬그라스의 청량함을 더해 이른 봄을 떠올리게 합니다. 이에 디자인은 물처럼 흐르는 듯한 타이포에 복합적인 향과 미의 감각을 컬러로 나타내었습니다. 또한, 크고 작은 물방울이 모여 물방울(커피 한 잔)을 이루고, 그 물방울들이 모여 물결(결실)을 형성한다는 의미를 담았습니다.
